am i correct in saying you dont gat bank holidays back if you are off sick?

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

i was off sick doc dated line back on the tuesday as obviuosly cldnt go back on monday holiday. No day in lieu or day back!

I don't know about anyone else but I would rather not have the day off on the BH as we certainly get hammered for it the following day. I think we'd be better off opening and everyone getting a lieu day at different times.
I staged a Roger Moore impersonator festival in my local village. There were a lot of eyebrows raised, I can tell you.
