I'm holiday, so I was bored, and yes I looked through the courier, and it's now wonder mail is arriving at my frame by the truck load lately, it' moving so fast through the mail centres that Yorks are crashing into each other, and they've had to introduce a "two chevrons apart" system, just like the M4 and traffic moving in excess of 70 mph, Greenford mail centre now has a dedicated lane for Yorks with yellow chevrons painted on it, with instructions to "keep Yorks two chevrons apart".
What is actually worse is that RM is actually paying people to come up with things like this, oh and in the picture, there are no Yorks on the Greenford mail centre motorway.

In the same issue I note we employ a "Safety management systems manager" who is obviously paid a lot of money to come up with gems like "High visibility waistcoats, jackets and all weather coats must be worn in al situations where business policy or risk assessment dictate that the task or workplace requires it"
Do they go on courses to learn how to speak like that ?

Then there is postwoman Diana Young form South Gloucestershire, complaining her HCT is too heavy, and she still needs to carry a pouch in order to do her delivery quicker and finish on time.
Now pardon me for being thick dear, but who exactly is putting all this mail in your HCT to make it so heavy ?
I do believe its you.
Heres a bit of advice, put less in it, don't struggle, finish on time, and cut off if you have to.

What about the letter named "Bounce Back". Some postman wanting us to deliver an elastic band to every house wrapped around their post so they can use them again or send them back to RM and we could get a prize for whoever gets the most returned!!! Holy crap, this person really needs to get out more......

and yet if you accept their plan to keep yorkies apart why does the lane have the arrows for each direction so close to each other. If they really valued safety then wouldn't there be 2 seperate lanes to make sure the yorkies do not collide when going in different directions. I post about WCM

No, Diana, it does not. When you walk out of your office you should be pushing a HCT that weighs no more than 105 kg. If it weighs 120 kg , it is 15 kg overweight. If you're also carrying a 15 kg pouch, you are now 30 kg overweight. Diana, if you're reading this, (and if not, I hope one of your colleagues passes it on to you), do what we have always done, make up a second or third pouch for a drop bag further round your walk when the trolley weight has been reduced. The pouch will now go in an empty compartment so there should be nothing hanging round your neck.
And btw, 105 kg is the maximum possible weight. It is not a target to be aimed for.

its clash that starts it, just got mine out of the re-cycle box to read a story about a lying twat driving 400 miles to find a stuffed toy.
