Some financial institution somewhere will finance a third party to buy Royal Mail , why not us ? We have the knowledge and skills to run the the business , if we feel we can do a better job then lets explore it. Management buyouts are commonplace so why not sell to the employees, CWU must be able to put a presentation together to a bank just as competently as TNT , seriously .....why not ?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Gvt has already agreed to separate pensions from any sale , we could pay £2 billion and get £25 billion in assets (property etc) ,

As RM intend to sell of the business in different categories i.e.Deliveries ( letters ), Parcelforce, Warehousing, Processing / Distribution.
We are going to end up being franchises anyway.
WERE ALL DOOMED FRIENDS.
