Boots ?? uniform

Ive been with RM since end of Jan this year, Still no uniform or any boots.My own boots have just about had it and have got about a month wear left, will the RM pick up my expense's for a new pair ?
Have given my uniform request to the manger but nothing?

Not sure what happens nowadays, but I believe you don't get issued with uniform until you done 6 weeks.

Wouldnt hold your breath uniform. Ive been with RM over 9 months now and all i have recieved is a fleece that no one else seemed to want! Even that was the wrong size.....

ring uniform up yourself on the office phone on 0800 731 5137 and speak to them and get your dom to authorise them

Mind you the DOM phoned it in.

Footwear and Hi-viz are PPE and because they're a conduct issue then they have to be issued...............and worn.

i was under the impression that regarding uniform we can order trousers, fleece, polo/shorts and shoes once we start... but its 6 weeks iirc before you can order stormproof gear, and boots...

but then again i wouldnt be surprised if they had changed that since i started

Footwear and Hi-viz are PPE and because they're a conduct issue then they have to be issued...............and worn.

In theory yes but doesnt mean this is actually adhered to. Most of our temp / part timers are without boots although they do seem to give out the hi vis jackets to everyone.

ring uniform up yourself on the office phone on 0800 731 5137 and speak to them and get your dom to authorise them

i was under the impression that regarding uniform we can order trousers, fleece, polo/shorts and shoes once we start... but its 6 weeks iirc before you can order stormproof gear, and boots...

You cant order anything yourself anymore as its handled by a different company now! Everything has to be done by your manager now days.

You can order yourself. You only need to get a manager to do it if you have already ordered the maximum amount of uniform you are allowed to order in the last year.

I just noticed I never received trousers in my uniform pack. Should these have been included?

So far i have shirts, Polo', belt & Fleece.

Unless you intend to turn up in your boxers...yes.
You should also be supplied with a stormproof jacket,a lightweight rainjacket,at least 2 hats,boots or shoes and waterproof trousers.

I wouldn't have thought i would got jackets & hats etc yet, Its only my basic uniform i have recieved.

I will phone on Monday.
