revisions NOT being implemented.

was told today off a colleague at a neighbouring office, that his dom has told them they will NOT be bringing in the revision full stop. ive also heard this at another neighbouring office as well. apparently its cos they know its dead in the water, and theres no savings to be made from it. what is to happen to all the offices that are already stuck with this shyte. are we to endure it. or will it be pulled from us as well. surely they cant have working practises that differ so much from other offices.

Whether the revisions have been cancelled,suspended or amended the lack of real official information rather than rumour and counter rumour is quite frankly...a f***ing joke.
Management have been given free reign to make up whatever bullshit they like.
The members have been left in the dark....yet again.

We've had our Revisions "Postponed" yet again. I believe it's because we're actually trying to make the new system "Do-able", there's not enough savings made so Management(?) Higher Up the Food Chain keep kicking it out.

Personally I'd like to see OUR Office Revisions come in. This is because if offers the opportunity for quite a few PT guys to go FT. If we keep the Status Quo (other aging rock bands are available) we'll end up with the Old Guard of FT posties working probably harder than they've worked before and the DIM cutting PT hours to the bone to try and keep the lid on his budget.

We have the familiar situation of some working 50 hrs a week and others not being able to book more than their 22.5 hrs because they're on delivery only. OUR Revision will make some people actually work the hours they're meant to and force them to cut off when it's heavy. It will also enable others to get a better deal on their contracts.
This would in turn take away a lot of stress and worry for those posties and their families. For US I believe the Revision would be a better solution.

Some of us went through a revision about 4 years ago, based on the assumtion of getting WSM etc, (reduction in staff. etc) --still no machines but some park and loop---sadly working practices do vary from office to office! Which brings up the question of C/shares once again, if the revision is pulled, will the shares be 'reinstated' as per pre-revision? Ha. Ha,
To think of all the years this has been in planning! And they pay these numpties do to this!

sorry folks about spoilin the fun,every office IS GOING AHEAD WITH CHANGE.3 year plan to be put in so if it is not startin yet it will.ourz goes live 2 weeks p/t posties been made up to 30 hours from 25.no walks taken out.2 vacancys made.geo route perfect.think we were lucky our planner is a cwu area rep, so think he has kissed some som arse and got it in.

What is surprising, in our office anyway, is that they are prepared to listen to us. Don’t try pulling the wool but if you’ve a genuine case to make, they’ll change the plan accordingly. I’m stunned! I never thought that would happen.

Perhaps there’s hope for us yet, or am I getting carried away?

39hr week , pt to ft @ rate of 75/25 % all as per agreement we all voted and accepted

Similar in my office some people are lucky to work a few days a week (sat only contracts ) and others seem to get unlimited o/t daily.How can this be fair ?
but in our office some staff want to go p/t but are denied it by manager, crazy world.

Seems to me managers are doing it because its not working during the week so they don`t want left with loads of undelivered mail on a Saturday.

So what's the difference between using your cars, or the vans?
I know there aren't enough. But surely they should let you use as many vans as are available, shouldn't they?
