Part timer booking full time hours

If you do FT hours you are entitled to FT pay or whatever hours you work.
If IPS starts at 6 and you start at 8 doing a FT duty then no you can't claim 2 hours.
What happens a lot now is, you start at same time as FT and you get paid till what time you finished over your contract hours.
Or they lapse the IPS bit and you don't get paid for that.
Gone are the days when if you do a FT duty you automatically get those hours early finish or not.

If you work the 2 hours extra then course you claim the 2 hours as docket but if you only work 1 hour extra and claim for 2 then thats fraud.

I feel some part timers get the impression that they are only supposed to do part of the job,ie no ips or even prepping.
Regardless of what hrs you are contracted for if you 'work those hrs' and you have to do the odd bit of ips or prep because there is scope to there is nothing you can do.

It depends on your hrs and what you can physically do in those hrs.

The only thing that part-timers don't need to do is work outside their contracted hours.
Anything inside those hours is just "work".
Obviously if management want you to complete a delivery they have to give you enough time to complete a delivery...
If they don't....then don't.

i guess in reality its probably somewhere inbetween these extremes that a part timers role falls. Its true you dont have to work outside your contracted hours but RM doesnt have to offer you a contract extension! But if you dont stand up to the managers and refuse to do work when they take the p*** they will screw you silly. But if you refuse to help out completely and kick up too much of fuss then you can find yourself out of a job or working in the sticks miles from civalisation! (i had the later punishment recently lol)

If a part timer is on a full time duty and does everything required, IPS etc, is it allowable to book the extra 2 hours?

If you sign on to a full time duty in the morning you get paid those hours, no need to book OT- which 2 hours is the OT? - could be start, 3rd hour to 4th hour, 5th hour to 6th hour etc. Irrelevant, you have done 8 hour duty so thats what your paid.
