CHANGE OF HOURS 24 HOURS NOTICE????

Been told that our hours will change from tuesday this week, and we will be told on monday. CAN THEY DO THIS??? just 24 hours notice is a piss take.Currently half way through a re-pick.......Any info would be greatly received (SG AREA)

No! They must give you proper notice. I think it's 28 days notice, but I'm not sure. Hopefully, someone else will be able to give you an accurate figure. But there is no way, that they can do this, with 24 hours notice, without being in breach of current agreements. What's your Rep doing about this?

You can't give 24 hours notice, i thought it was only 7 days, but it could be 28 days as previous post has stated. I think it depends on the hours being changed.

4 weeks notice, and must be agreed at local level by your Rep! tell em to fook off

They cannot force a change like that in a 24 hour period. Tell them so and that they know they are taking the pee. Tell them you will continue to do your current hours until proper notice is given.

If its like our office you wont have a choice. They just sent the mail later everyday, we kept complaining and ringing up to see where it was. We were just told it was on its way and nothing else. 2 weeks later of this happening we were talking to a driver who brought the mail to our office on the wagon about it and he said "Dont you know that your start times have changed?" Apparently he did, we didnt, he didnt even work at our office. We saw a manager over a month later to comfirm it. The damage had been done. He told me "You should have read your courier paper, it told you in there your hours were changing" and walked off
