Anyone been told about the Census packs we've to deliver in March? Wish I had booked my A/L for March now what with Council Tax Bills aswell :arrrghhh

What's this about Census? Don't tell me we get stiffed with them as well as council tax, an all the other sh'ite that we get at the end of a Financial year....? :pray :pray :d'oh!

yes we have to deliver the census to every house in the UK at the start of march.

that probably explains the revisions being put on hold till april :left: :left:

Got told just over a week ago that we can expect them around 7th March and I think we've got 3 days in which to deliver them but I don't think we are getting paid any extra (could be wrong on the last bit but I doubt it).

Oh well, we'll have to see how long it takes ( cut off ) or how much it costs ( claim docket )....either way, as much as I will bitch about the extra pouch bags, and going to every house, it ain't my problem :confused

Can't be any worse than receiving all your council crap on a Saturday! We always seem to, they must beaver away all week and then drop it in the post before they knock off on Friday! :Boo hoo!

Not 100% sure but do not think that it is applicable in Scotland this year, although I could be wrong.

Fife Council have been recruiting staff to deliver the census within the region but I am not sure about other regions.

Anybody have any idea WHAT they are? i.e. a thin A5 envelope or an A4 package.... thats what makes the difference!

When I done these ten years ago they were yellow a4 sized things that were not very thick. Ifi remember right they turned up in batchs and not all at once. They took sometime maybe 2 weeks to clear. The returns sat in trays at the mc for months after they were returned.
