could anyone please answer a question, my 3 month temp 25 hour aweek contract runs out this thursday, and have not heard anything about what happens next, i am on the rota all next week so i take it im am staying but who knows, it would be nice to know where i stand, also not had a day off since starting so what about holiday pay, can a book a few days off or just take full weeks?

you would get notice if they dont renew the contract afaik - so your staying for another 3 months

you have to go four years under temporary contracts before being made permanent it is supposed to be only two years because of MTSF agreement at royal mail afaik this type of thing allways happens during recessions i remember the last two hopefully things will pick up and there will be crying out for you..or to take you on permanently..
