I think he must mean mass mobilisation of all of the new vans that are moth balled somewhere down near Bristol, as he has no chance of mobilising the membership. Privitisation is a done deal and the only thing that will hold it back now is a no vote in the House of Lords, which is as likely as kenny Dalglish hanging around at Liverpool.

We all know those two idiots are totally out of touch. They called for a meeting/rally in Kingston upon Thames on a Saturday with a meet time of 12 o'clock. They'd already 'negotiated' that Saturday was now a normal day finish time!!!!! How could anyone finish and get to Kingston town centre by 12 o'clock. Beggars belief doesn't it?
These two idiots are earning the same money as upper management, and some people trust them to run a union? Not me.

But the CWU/RM management team provide so much misery for us to wallow in, don't they?
I wonder if they've given any thought to actually improving working conditions, you know, actually treat their down-trodden staff as if they were human beings, not pack mules?

And I wonder if the CWU/RM management team did actually improve the prevailing miserable conditions, whether we'd all be posting positive thoughts on positive threads, praising the excellent service our company provides, and how wonderful it is to work for such a good employer, who treats their staff as if they really did value them.

But, in a world seemingly controlled by cold, greedy, grasping, old misers like Rupert Murdoch, the above just won't happen, will it? In fact, there's more chance of my stealing the Middleton tart from prematurely balding William Wales, I think.

There has been plenty of mention of DSA , in all the CWU responses to either the Hooper report , Post comm or the select committee.

The CWU held a Reign in the regulator conference as well , and lobbied and delivered a confin to Post Comm when they first allowed compeitiion into Royal Mail ahead of the rest of Europe.

DSA and the other aspects of unfair compitition including price control were actually the reason that Labour put in their manifesto the need to have a review in unfair compitition . Before Mandleson and the Hooper change course.

I know its easy to think the union has done nothing ever in its history by reading some comments on here , but I suggust if you are truelly intrested in finding out the rain forests which have been destroyed by the countless submissions by the CWU to the Government and assocaited bodies then why dont you write to the resarch department they will be able to supply you will all the reports.

Everyone knows that we have been stitched up by DSA, but remember it was Crozier who agreed the access price prior to Post comm doing so which undercut Royal Mail in a major way.

Last paragraph sums it all up.No-one was prepared to fight for a proper deal on DSA,LEIGHTON/CROZIER knew they were'nt here for the long haul so why would they give af.. k about us, no they simply filled their boots and f....d off leaving us in the pooh.It certainly looks as though the die has been cast for us i'm afraid.
