sick leave while on hereford

Hi all,
I have a 7 day doctors paper which runs out next tuesday.
My hereford starts on monday does anyone know if i will get the 2 days back

No.
Your "Hereford" or Wallingtons are your days off accrued over 6 weeks.
Unlike annual leave,you do not get paid for your day off...so unlike annual leave,you cannot have it back.

Not sure but I believe you have to let them know as soon as you are fit for work ,even if you are on a hereford /wallington (or annual leave.?)Hopefully someone on here will give you a definitive answer.

It would be best to inform them that you are fit to work on wednesday.
Normally sick absence only includes your day off if the period of sickness starts before your day off/week off and finishes after it but i would cover yourself with a phone call.
