Somebody, to make the W1 post codes more exciting (which I think is the only reason) changed all the codes in the W1 area.
Oxford St code is very similar to WC1 so when people post their letters with the Oxford st even code the first part of the post code is W1C so colleagues tend to think that this is WC1.
If its Oxford St even or Stratford place please send it to W1 please. We get enough work as it is already.

But how is W1C confused with WC1 when WC1 is always WC1A, WC1B, WC1E, WC1H, WC1N, WC1R, WC1V or WC1X, not just WC1 ? :roll:

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
