I'm not a football fan but I thought some matches did start late on a Saturday........................why don't you make a petition to Sky, they seem to control everything these days.

You also have to think about those poor golfers (Caddyshack joke about killing all the goafers on the course) they pay their green fees and now won't be able to play.......................oh wait, that's the managers and they're always away early everyday :wink:

I still manage to make 3pm kick-offs on a Saturday :Very Happy. I finish at 12pm though so I've got plenty of time. I've even made a fair few away games whilst working for RM. Honestly, I'd quit if it was the choice between work and my season ticket. Getting to the cricket nowadays is a huge problem though - I used to be a member at my county of choice but can no longer justify it for getting to three or four days' play a season. The OD and Twenty20 rubbish I can still make, but it doesn't interest me.

totally agree had to stop playing and coaching rugby league because of this shite, bring back sunday leagues.

Or you could do what some of my Collegues do on the Late Shift (indoor), and use TOIL, or A/L to get a half day, to watch the match. :hmmmm
