If you have to pick up your cdv from another office 2.5 miles away from your office do you get travelling expenses because you have to go to another office not your own?

Is this a normal and all the time thing?

You should go to YOUR office then get a lift to the other office in your duty time.
Also what happens at the end of the duty?
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

being told pick up your cdv at the other office and drop it off at the other office so start and finish at another office

why have you got to go to another office for ye van if there is no room at the inn take it home with ye f@@@ them cheeky gets :Very Happy so ye lookin at 2.5 miles ten mins max,less time to deliver ye mail :cool

no you are wrong your start time is as soon as you get your keys frm the other office
and your finish is when keys are handed in

Let's say you start at 6,you go to your office at 6 then get transported to the other office and you get there at 6-30, are you saying your shift now starts at 6-30?

at our office we pcisk vans up from mc every day. our start time and finish is 6.30 - 3pm. so, we pick the keys up for 6.30 from mc, get to our office for 7, set off back to mc at 2.30 and hand keys in for 3 which compeltes our shift. 1 hour wasted everyday pickin vans but oh well.

Why do you not go to your office 1st?
