stormproof coat hood

Having kept my last stormproof for.....well... too long. i received a new one the other week - the one with the hood that has never been tested

.....has anyone got any ideas of making this hood work other than cutting it off & not bothering

cant wait for the brand new uniform hope the stormproof has a proper hood on it.

Tried the new stormproof coat last week, hood is a nightmare trying to keep your head dry, went back to using my old waterpoof coat after 2 days

I just tied a knot in the chord making it sort of like a chin strap. Other than that it's just like RM management...useless.

And how many pens have people lost so far due to the tiny pockets in the trousers?

Just do what everyone in my office does, your own proper waterproof coat with a hi-viz over the top

Sod it... if it gets really bad my missus bought me a mountaineering coat for my birthday and its the dogs bollocks in wind, rain, snow you name it...made by a company called Arcteryx she won't tell me who much it cost and knowing her shopping habits I'm just too freighted to look

My lino says RM uniform or nothing but I've spent too many days wet,cold and miserable so sneak it out

couple of weeks ago we had monsoon level rain
its got worse as the morning went on.
i got fed up trying to keep the hood up
however after about an hour i was heading back to a pouch box and thought i would whip the hood up for a bit
well f**k me,did it not just fill up with water
so i poured water right down my neck to add to my fun

I grant you its a fantastic coat but what is it with women and shopping? Her:"but it was in the Sale!!" Me: "But its more than a weeks wages!" "But it WAS in the Sale!".... Where's me pint

I wonder if RM couldn't do a deal with this company like they have with CAT and the shoes I'm telling you no more complaints about coats!

Hmmm. Yeah. Frak that sh*t. RM won't even send me a coat, so if anyone has a problem with me wearing my own (with a hi-vis over it), they can get stuffed. At least my coat is waterproof. At least my coat doesn't make me look like I was animated into life from an over-active set of traffic lights.
