bad cold

Have had a 'really' bad cold last week and had a couple of days of, am supposed to be back tommorow but still feel like crap, if I am off will that count as another week?, and do I need a doctors note?

Yup you'll need a doctors note. It won't count as a full week unless you take a full week off!

Edit: Sorry I didn't quite read that correctly... tot up the total number of days you've had off sick to see if you need a doctors note... simply going into another week won't trigger it.

It depends when you went off.
You can self-certificate for 7 days so if you went off on wednesday last week you will need a GP fit-note after tuesday this week...it doesn't matter that they are 2 separate weeks.
