Change of contract

My contract will be changing soon from part time to full time. Will i have to sign a something to state that i am willing to work extra hours on my contract or do i just go in on monday and just work as normal.

In fact it's such a rare thing , you want to watch out that you're not stuffed and mounted in the RM museum as the the last of an extinct breed

Congratulations Cowpat Hope it's for real. As Spilie says just watch out for the TEMPORARY pitfall. We've been told we need to recruite 10 new guys. But, you've guessed it, they won't consider making any of our PT guys up to FT.

Not until our complete area has done it's revision (sometime in 2015 perhaps!) just in-case they need to transfer Posties from other offices who may be made Redundant. Don't know of any nearby DOs that are flush with posties though. Most seem to be understaffed like us.

Rm aren't making people from part-time to full-time, although maybe its temporary. I had a problem going from full-time to part-time, it took 4 weeks to correct.

IIRC HR sent me 2 copies of a revised contract and I returned 1 signed.
