my office f****d up, yet again.........

went into work at 6 today after having a lovely day off yesterday only to be told " your not needed today, forgot to let you know", no "sorry" at all......this, and numerous pay blunders in my wage as well as the s**t we have to put up with im proper starting to think what the f**k am i doing working for this shithole of a company...?. my new years task if to find a new job.

no im on a 20 hour contract. on monday i checked my duty and i was down for doing a full time round (like i do every week, yet they wont alter my contract) with my day off yesterday. while i was off they decided they didnt need me in today, without telling me untill this morning when i went in as usual. it makes no difference to them as ill easily cover my contracted hours over 4 days doing the full time round. there totally taking the piss and tbh, i feel like a spare part to be used as and when needed. royal mail truely is the worst company iv ever worked for. roll on the new year and fingers crossed a new job.....

You are entitled to a payment of two hours or something like that? It happened to me a few years ago, I turned up and two of us were down for the same walk. Because I went in on time, and the other person had started early and prepped in the mech, the bosss told me to go home, but said I was going to get two hours, because he messed up!!

I think that the operative words in the above are "a few years ago" ..... theres a new reality out there now!
