anyone know if a part timer earning monkey coins will be due a tax rebait?

earn up to 7000 tax free earnings? even tho im paying abotu 50 a week tax ?

There's no way you should be paying 50 quid tax if you are only clearing 130 quid or so. What's your tax code?

I pay £50 a week on tax and thats a F/Time wage. Are you sure £50 is'nt your total deductions?

Why are u only clearing £130 a week?

I would be checking my tax code. At a quick glance I would reckon you're take home pay should be around £190-200 on a 25hr contract. So something is going wrong somewhere.

I'm 25 hours.

Take Home 184 quid, after deductions, AND extra holiday, and a bike loan.

Income tax is 16.40 for me.

Sounds like you are paying emergency tax which is 25% ish on everything I think. Call wages, the number will be on you payslip and tell them to get thier asssses in gear! :dance

Bloke in my office was on that for years just got a rebate of £6000.... which was nice! :nana

I had a tax rebate of circa £500 a couple of months ago. I sent a letter to my local Tax Office explaining that I was presently on BR, and invited them to correct the situation. I enclosed all of my pay slips as proof of how much I had earned (I hoard my pay slips), and within a fortnight or so they wrote back with a proper tax code and advised me to wait and see if I would be due a rebate. In my next pay slip, there it was. Happy days.

Yes he was full time, think personnel can sort it out for you if you think you are due a rebate. Took about a month to get them money through when they realised the mistake. Alternatively you could just contact the tax office :Very Happy
