I have had 3 Stints at 3 different Offices, on 3 different Contracts, within Royal Mail Deliveries!!!
All have been in the South Coast, Hampshire area!
My first experience of Working in the RM Group, was as a "Christmas Casual" in December 2006 ~ 3 weeks of the Twighlight Shift, with a Happy group of Guys & Gals, with a couple of really Good Managers!
My Second in the spring of 2007, was a 3 Month Casual Contract in My own Town, being paid Hourly, doing the same job as OPG's, but at about £3 per Hour less than Full time Staff!
My Third, was on a Full Time OPG Contract, from October 2007, until June this Year (2010), when I was 'Dismissed' for what I believe to be a Trivial & Unavoidable medical matter (nothing to do with My First 2 Stage Warnings)!!!
The Area Manager should have exersised Their discretionary powers to keep Me at "Stage 2", but didn't, & My appeal failed because "Correct Procedure" had been followed!!!
I am now following the Industrial Tribunal route, and have just been informed by ACAS that RM's Socicitors concede that "I WAS RIGHT"
Now, I ask You this:
DO I accept, and return to Work
Any Advice / Help Gratefully accepted ~ Ta
