PDA yarn's!

My list of PDA stories don't amount to much, but welcome to hear more...

1. I have been able to logon in my name Used id since February (Just use someone's who's day off it is) Dim dom told 3 times, I can't be bothered anymore.
2. Scanned packet, left PDA in van, posted packet, come back to van - battery fell out - bo**ocks.
3. Used the 'Phaser' mode to ward off horrid dog.
4. Yes they are waterproof and tea proof and they bounce well when dropped down 2 storey staircase.

They're not useless but what they are is old technology, I remember seeing them about 8 years ago and anyone remember what mobiles where like back then

My main problem is that they disconnect from the network on a regular basis (leaving many items left on the machine and if something happens then all that information will be lost).

Not known anyone to break one, but have known to lose one though.

Several have been broken in my office, they end up in the back of the van and someing falls on them they break really really easily.

Normally a hard reboot will fix them though

When I was being trained to do the training on them, we were told they were worth £1500 each. In one office, I had to send 15 back because they were faulty.

Training what training?....no such thing in royal mail nowadays!

Is that when they take it off you and turn it round? Or when they push areas of the screen that bring up different screens that you've never seen before Or when they can't understand the simple request not to lean on the screen with their hands otherwise their signature won't come out

Yes they turn it round,then realise it's wrong and turn it back,then think to themselves was it right in the 1st place then turn it back,then think was 'they' right in the 1st place and turn it back again,then.............

dunno about anyone else but I enjoy playing solitaire on mine

I don't know if this is common knowledge, so forgive me if you think i'm trying to teach you to suck eggs, etc, but if your out on delivery and you get logged off, and then sign back in and it asks you to scan your delivery walk. If you haven't got the walk number with you, then I just do 111111111111111111111111 and it works. Saves having to phone up your office for the number.
