What is the last collection time in your town/city?
Has it changed recently or do they plan to change it soon?

Just interested to know how it varies up and down the country.

Normal boxes are 5-30,we have the odd box that is 6-30,not sure but deep into london(city) there are a few 7-00 maybe even later.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

out and around the town
they varie from 4. - 5.30 with last collection from d.o post box at 6.30

North east region - covering ts24 - ts27
working for Royal Mail, is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle.......

Our latest boxes are 6.30. I think the times were made earlier when the MC was closed. Used to be 7.15 i think.

Our latest box is now 6pm (used to be 6.30 but they brought the time down to improve the service). :left:

17.30-the one outside the DO 18.30.

The later time for an afternoon collection on average is 4:30-5:30. Outside our d.o is 7:30.

We have one box in our area where the collection time is 18:30. That's because a local councillor kicked up a fuss about there not being a collection any later than 17:30 in the area. So, when one of the wagons is heading back from an office further into Wales on it's way to the MC, it stops off and collects from that box.
Does this rag smell of chloroform to you?
