Reason for asking is i am on a 36 hour contract and work 6hrs a day for 6 days a week, im knackered all the time and sundays fly by. Would be nice to have a day off in the week or at least work a 1 wk off in 6.

Wasn't there something in the sh**ty agreement that stated everyone will get at least 1 in 3 sats off.

That agreement and its non-commital bullsh*t wording strikes again! Who the f*ck signs an agreement containing words like majority? It's a maybe probably perhaps whatever kind of agreement!

don't think it takes effect till the walk sequencing comes in anyway and our office aint due for another year.

we went for the one week off in 4 option, the office agreed, the DOM agreed, the rep agreed then the planner went to his bosses and they said we can't do it as RM want to reduce the headcount and this system would have needed about 7 more bodies
we are all gutted!

Sorry fed but it's obvious,if you need 7 more bodies they will turn you down! They introduced D2D changes straight away, and if you are willing to reduce your hours they bend over backwards to sort you out a new shift pattern !! WELL DONE UNION !!!!

This is only 7 extra compared to the rotating day off option not on the office as it is now ie. post revision they would need 7 more bodies if we used the 3 week option compared to the roatating day option- they would still be losing duties if we went to 3 weeks but they want to lose lots not just some!!
don't really know the ins and outs yet will update when I do
but don't know why they offered us it if we couldn't have it
argggghhhh ask my why i'm surprised I should KNOW by now
