Travel expenses

I took a rural delivery position.

I'm dropped out with the first lot of mail in the morning,and after delivering,take a bus home.When i took the job on,my fares were paid for after producing the weeks tickets.A new manager then arrived at our main depot,and refused to pay my fares,as it was my choice to work there.

I didn't question this,i was new,naive and assumed he was doing his job.HOWEVER....recently a manager from another office came in for a week,and was shocked that i wasn't getting expenses,and said he'd look into it.....(haven't seen him since tho)
Finally,i found out today that rural travel expenses are covered at other offices.Also that when i have a holiday,whoever covers my round gets travel costs AND travel time paid for!

So,who do i contact to find out whether or not i'm entitled to some form of travel expense payment?

If they ask you to work out there they pay your travel expenses but if you apply for a vacancy out there, such as to be made up to full time, and get it then that is your normal place of work and they don't pay you

Ahhhh see that'd sort of make sense,altho they did pay it after i'd applied for and got the position.
So i guess in that respect i was lucky for a month or 2 lol thanks for your help people :)
