What do Colleagues do that annoys you?

Thought I'd start this off, as it's not just customers that annoy!

Other than come in early, using their cars etc, my pet hate is when they put a redirection in your frame, with no sticker, no address written on or anything. I'll be walking along and my next letter looks like a mis-sort from the other side of town. Then I look at the name, not familiar, I compare it to my next letter, no match, and that is three doors down anyway. So it could be a mis-sort, it could be for No 2 where I've just delivered buy don't know their name, it could be for No 4 or No 6 but that have no letters today.. so I take the bloody thing back.

It OK if you have your own duty and know all the redirections you get, but when you do a different walk every day it's most annoying.

I put a sticker on every redirection, and if I have a few for the same address, I don't put a band around them and stick a sticker OVER the rubber band (wtf?)

I've been working for RM for 2 months. I work in a tiny village sorting office which is about the size of my bathroom and has four rounds. Everyday, before framing my mail, I have to do "the mix". I have only ever done my own one round and everyone seems to expect to know the roads and farms in the others rounds too. Still, we all have to do the mix but I think I am more of a hindrance than a help because I have to keep asking "Who does Ash Farm? ... What about The Old Chapel?..."

As for things THEY actually do. Erm... no they are all alright! Disappointing answer, i know (just incase they use this forum!)

It's mostly drivers that annoy me.

Union man: start at your start time.

Driver: i'm leaving at five to nine so you better have your bags ready by then.

and that's before you get to the packets.

Put them all in a redirection bag and use one sticker.

Grassing..... i saw so and so at this place....at this time. w*****s ! If it aint hard enough keepin the doms off your back you have your own "work mates" telling effin tales cause ive made 2 minutes. GET A LIFE.

Tell the bosses that they have done YOUR delivery before and that it ONLY takes them ....blah blah blah hours

. There is also a postie at our office who if he happens to drop any of his letters on the floor, will leave them and hope someone else picks them up for him. He tried it on me by telling me "I think you have dropped a letter " so i bent down had a look at it then said "No, its yours and dropped it back on the floor"

But he still does it to other people! The same postie also makes sure that he tips more ips mail on everyone elses frame for sorting hoping that there wont be enough left for him.

Drivers who cover a walking duty on their day off and then tell everyone how easy they found it compared to being stressed with a driving duty!! Our reply to that is that perhaps they should come of driving and do a walk everyday for 20 years and then tell us how blo..dy fit they are!

When they don't do the job right, just got back from my hols and had over 20 letters on my frame that they should have killed off but decided to leave them all for me..thanks lads.

Telling me (during revisions) how fecking hard their walk is and that all the reserves who've done it,the rest day covers and anyone else who has done it before is wrong.

when we used to get paid for D2DS!
this one lad used to take out one of the D2DS and take it to every house on the round, he would then claim for all of that one D2D
told him look fuckwit! take out a few streets of all the D2DS [used to be3] then you will still get the same money and i am not going to every f***ing house that you went to!

As had been said before grasses.
I hate them and from what I can gather the managers despise them too but use them.
Also people that slag the union off for everyhting wrong with the Royal mail.
Also Selfish w@nkers, I hate them and also backstabbers and two faced snides.
Jesus I think I hate a lot of work colleagues.
