"Mail up!"

Just wondering if anyone else uses this phrase when the mail arrives off the van? At my office there always seems to be a mass chorus of "Mail Ups!"

It does leave an interesting slant for potential Royal Mail advertisements. A normal delivery office, a few ordinary seeming drivers just doing normal stuff, then all of a sudden one of them screams 'Mail Up, it's the code word' and they break into dance.

its amazes me how so many offices seem the same throughout the country, I thought it was just my office that employed selfish lazy buggers that think about themselves only and dont give a toss about helping out.

Yep they is the ones, stab everyone in the back then whinge like wounded pussies about the union not protecting them when the consequences of their own actions come back and bite them

i know doms like the early work for fre culture within royal mail - but do they really respect them as the time they served as a postman - they maybe hated the ones that came in early ..... mind u probably didnt happen much in the 70's
