Royal Mail=Money wasters!

We've just had a new kitchen fitted in our office!

Six workmen arrived in two vans and took a whole day to remove our old one(all 3 units,one top unit and an oven). One further day to put new units together and another day to put them on wall. They've been working a shift system with four sitting watching tv in our rest room and two working. Now they just need to plug in electric cooker and put up about 20 wall tiles,i'll estimate another three days. The old units were fine and weren't even used anyway,don't know what it's costing but it must be a fortune.

Why is it that anytime Royal Mail has work done it's always so expensive and yet they never seem to give a s**t. Outside companies must think they've hit the jackpot when they do jobs for us! Then when it comes to spending money on the actual frontline service it's wallets away time,and every penny is a prisoner. What a joke this company is!

We had a new kitchen fitted the other year out of our FLF money, apparently it cost about £10k, the units are the cheapest crap you could get out of B & Q. Someone got a nice backhander for that.

We had the office enlarged and the cowboys,oops,builders nicked our coffee and tea and mugs,built a wall that fell down ,left all their cr*p on a flat roof where it was hidden and to cap it all the following winter the drains would not work so Dynarod was called and they ended up putting a camera down to see what the problem was and "Hey!" we found where they had got rid of the cement and concrete they did not need.

At our office they started the installation of our WSMs about four weeks ago. So far they've done a bit of wiring, dug up outside to put in a "landing" and made the burglar alarm go off constantly. Apparently they are already two weeks behind schedule!

We still dream of getting a kitchen at our office.

Whilst we use the preferred system it will always be the most expensive option.

The toilet seat in the disabled toilet was broken - how it happened god only knows we haven't any disabled people - anyway up turns cowboy joe tightens the nuts too tight and bingo cracks the porcelain and lo and behold new toilet needed.

I rem that the wooden floor in the main sorting hall was to be re laquered so we had to clear all our bags and stuff. These 2 fools turned up charging £500 and used our cleaners mop and yard broom to apply it, without even washing it first

Needless to say it became a brown sludge and looked far worse. Two weeks a proper firm had to remove the whole surface with walking sanders and spray on a new top coat. It turned out really well but cost £6000
