Bulky Bag Workers look after Themselves

Has anyone noticed the Bulky Bag Man/Woman in your office, their bags are practically empty look at the top of their frame tomorrow, our bags are filled up to the brim, the trick is anything to big for the bulky bag Man/Woman they launch it on a York nearby for the drivers, where as everything else gets launched into our bags, its worth looking at the person frame tomorrow who does the bulky bags then challenge them why they don’t have a lot of packets, they will go red in the face….

Who is on about duty time? What i'm saying is i get hammered everyday with packets, the bulky bag people get away with murder, asking a manager to sign a packet in our office for putting on the van is like finding a winning lottery ticket, its just not fair some posties having two bulky bags and and the bulky man having naff all....

Why do you not use the packet frame which gauges whether you should be delivering it or the Van Driver. If you haven,t seen one it,s a rectangular metal frame. If the packet passes through it, then you take it. If it doesn,t then you dont. No arguments, just put it on the york for the Van Driver.

I know exactly what you mean. Working as a driver and it is amazing the number of packets that i have to give back to same people eveyday. Surprise surprise they sort the packets!

Have you seen the size of that packet aperture? They used it as a blueprint for the channel tunnel.

I Had a tube the other day you could have got 6 cans of lager in the tube, went to put it on the drivers York, Mangers seen me shouts " hope that's signed for or its wilful delay" now this tube wil go through the rectangular metal frame.
And how can I answer my own question when mangers are shouting wilful and I don't do the bulkys.
A Month ago I went to the cage got a Special Delivery, said to the manager "I won't reach this location by 1pm" she said "ok I will take it off you on the condition you go to the drivers york and take a packet off it for your walk as a swap deal.. have you ever heard such nonsense....

we dont have seperate driving duties in my office so your argument is moot

Why bother wasting your time looking for a DIM to sign a packet just put it in the drivers yorkie simples.

Never have i taken a packet to the DIM to sign i refuse to be treated like a child if the driver doesn't like the size he comes and sees me himself.

Dont forget the weight of a packet carried in a pouch should be no more than 1.25kg and that is in the SOP Agreement.

The trick is you have a wander round to the drop bag frame and remove the big packets and drop em in the york, jobs a good un.

If you tried to give a packet "back" to me I'd tell you to fo and get a manager to sign it, works both ways if I have to get em signed so should the drivers.
