Regarding these menu of duty options / changes i have a few questions.
1 Are these likely to reduce the number of walks in an office?
2 If so what happens to the spare individuals whos walks become no more?
3 If people are spare does seniority take priority on who gets to pick any existing walks?
4 Finally do less senior postman that are on royal mail apprenticeship schemes / 1st steps to management, get preferencial treatment / rights compared to a more senior postman not on any managent / apprenticeship scheme?
Thanks

Re: Menu of Duty questions
D.Os work on hours based budgets how that budget is broken down into staff numbers will play a part. 40 hours could be 2 X 20 hour contracts or just one FT. Same hours but different OPG/Duty level.derkhead wrote:Regarding these menu of duty options / changes i have a few questions.

Resign decides that, revision will decide the hours and staffing level, you may end up with VR being offered in your D.O or it may be no change to staffing levelsderkhead wrote:

Yes in the resign all duties are picked on seniority (the level of change will determine if any given duty is in the resign)derkhead wrote:
