Should The Delivery Supplement Be Renamed

After 3 months of knowing the delivery supplement was coming & 3 weeks of it being inforce some people still just don't seem able to grasp the idea of it.And I believe it could be the name of the supplement that confuses some.
It is not a supplement for delivering d2d or for any kind of "delivery" at all.It is a supplement for people who work in a delivery office whether you deliver mail or not.
Maybe it should be called a DELIVERY OFFICE SUPPLEMENT this may be clearer for some to understand.

It is a new way of paying out same money,which the CWU believes will be to the benefit of all eventually.
With also the aim to incorporate into basic pay eventually.
Apparantly or so I believe anyway as the thinking is it is harder to take away money from our basic pay or allowances everybody gets than it is to remove other allowances that some and eventually most don't get.

The supplement will increase in value as agreed in basic pay rises.

Leaving aside the grammer, yes the supplement will rise when basic pay is increased.

Next 2 pay rises 2011 & 2012 basic pay & supplement will both rise and they will remain separate.

That wont apply to RM as we have our own seperate revenue stream, other than UK GOV owning all the shares there is no difference betwen us and a private company due to the restructuring of RM by succesive governments.
