It's NOT work to rule that is illegal, you mean you're going to do the job properly yes?

Work to rule is classed by RM as industrial action.

Do the job properly is the correct terminology.

It's all in the wording.

The word is 'isn't' if you must contract, but 'working properly' is exactly the same as working to rule except with a different tag. If there is any difference its one of speed but otherwise they both include doing no more than you have to and within the rules.

Most if not all people are out off the office for 9am after the hub run is back,
so its an extra 40 mins wait.

Sorry wrong.

Working properly is an individuals choice. Working to rule is a recognised industrial action (which the CWU dislike) by a group.

IN RM as the CWU don't like WTRs it can cause problems as without their backing and a properly constituted ballot WTR are illegal and workers taking part can be sacked.

If you decide to "Do the job properly" dont use that term or WTR when talking with management, just actually come in on time, refuse offers of overtime, take 1 bag with you (follow weight matrix), follow all H&S rules etc etc etc - they will get the message in the end.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On the contraction "ain't" your wrong. You are right in your choice of an alternative but wrong that "ain't" should not be used in this context".

Definition: Ain't
Definition
A contraction for are not and am not; also used for is not. [Colloq. or illiterate speech].[Websters].
Source: Webster's Revised Unabridged Dictionary (1913)

Date "Ain't" was first used in popular English literature: sometime before 1647.

BTW its not from Wikipedia :left:

if you have a later leaving time then you'll be less likely to deliver all of your duty. I know people get frustrated hanging around doing nothing but it does remove the perceived bonus (if there is one) of coming in early.

I'll be brutally frank in this case ,sorry.

If this is not your usual break period and you are finishing early because you go out early then you have time to lapse.

If you usually do take your break after bagging up like we do then you wont have time to lapse.

If you take your break on delivery, then management have moved it, they can force you when to take it unfortunately, but not where :Very Happy.

If you take your break on the end of your duty to finish early, then I am afraid for RM this is illegal as the break should be somewhere in the middle of the working day and they are just enforcing this ruling and there is not much that can be done about it.
