No the 2.5% pay rise comes in when FT go down to 39 hours and that happens when your DO (or feeding MC for some) get their Walk Sequencing Revision.

We already have WSM in our DO, have had them for nearly 6 months now, does that mean all full timers in my office are already at 39 hours and i should therefore expect my pay slip to show a few more pennies than usual when it comes on Thursday? (I'm PT if you havn't guessed) Sorry if it's a stupid question...

I just love your optimism Terry. I hope you (like me) won't be too disappointed with the wait. It could be some time, long enough for RM to not only move the goal posts, but the whole pitch.

No afraid not CCRs post was slightly incorrect in that its not WHEN you get your Walk Sequenced MAIL but WHEN you get your Walk Sequencing REVISION. A subtle difference in a post, but a massive difference in its effect on you. I would keep pushing for the revision, or get the rep to make a case for payment.

Thanks for that but, it does not state 2.5%; it also comes under the heading 'shorter working week', I thought all employees (P/T & F/T) were getting a shorter working week by 1hour so all will gain "an increased hourly rate"

It's not,the agreement says there will be a higher rate for PT but did not actually give a figure.

What happens is that whatever basic pay rate is in force at the WS revision for your D.O is divided by 39 hours rather than 40 hours. That means the hourly pay rate is higher and therefore PT pay will be their contracted hours multiplied by the new hourly rate. That increase has been worked out as equating to 2.5%.

The SWW is FT only hence the Hourly increase in wages for PT.

Nope.

No one is being paid for delivering D2Ds ever again.

Everyone in a Delivery Unit though is receiving a Delivery Supplement based on hours (Just as RDCs, MCs, WBC, Fleet Services etc are all receiving their supplements based on hours, but in most cases LESS than deliveries get).

Lets hope it eventually does get recognised I am sick of having this argument at work, and then I have to explain it on here on nearly a daily basis.
