on march 1st i was made up to full time from part time. who gets the ESA.i thought all full timers got this? i understand its now gona when the supplement comes into effect but i thought i would be getting it or so until then?

No ESA 1 and ESA 2 were for starts at 0500 and 0530 - when the P&M 2007 deal came in we were moved to 6am and 630am starts but the ESA was turned into 2007 Pay Protection.

You could only get the 2007 Pay Protection if you were in receipt of ESA1 or 2 before P&M07, if you were not you did not get it. There is no ESA for 6am starts only before

What happens under the new agreement when you are still working from 5.30a.m. as the walk revision doesn't look like it is going to happen before Oct? The whole purpose of the delivery supplement was because you would no longer be starting at 5.30a.m. If you are only going to be paid £20.60 but continue as normal, this isn't in the "spirit" of the agreement.

You'll probably need to ring pay at HR (Sheffield) to get a formal answer but AFAIK if it says ESA on your pay slip and you still meet the rules for getting it then you will carry on getting it.

I think that only those that had 2007 Pay Protection on their Pay Slip actually lose it. Me included
