4 day week
Does anyone here do a four day week on delivery and how does it usually break down and cover all days of the week?

Not yet but it's being spoke about in our office. DOM says it would be full delivery followed by full collection over 10 hours. Think I fancy it, unless anyone can see a reason why not?

When this came up before they were talking a proper 10 hours of delivery work. For me that would be too much. 
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

It really does depend on the specs of your office.
You WILL be doing longer walks,and you have to do more indoor work.
Some offices have a mixed 4 and 5 day week duties,some have permanent MON/TUE rest days and absorb the prep and ips of them,and the walks go out on SA for say 5/6 hrs.
Some have more part timers so again you absorb the ips and prep.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
