Well, I'm reading it as people who are in the job are getting it the bonus, not necessarily making the part timers up to £400. So those have only been in the job for say 4 months will be getting a small proportion of the bonus?

No the pro rata payment stands. However everyone who joined after the 1st January will now recieve the money providing they were in the post before the date it was paid.

Well in truth I wasn't being sarcastic, BUT on reflection, having read it again, but with more care, I should have remained sceptical shouldn't I ste? As per usual the devil is in the detail. I mean exactly how many is that going to affect - in Post on 1 January 2010 getting £400, in post 1 January 2007 but part time getting the shaft - the usual bullcrap making FA sound like a massive achievement.

where is the confusion, it says 400 pound to every employee.

Bonus payments are always, and have always been paid pro rata, regardless of whether it makes it clear in the agreement. You'd think everyone would know by now. If anyone is on a 20 hour contract and expected the full £400 then more fool them.

It's just another bandwagon to jump on and complain about.

Still a big let down, the moral course of action is to pay the £400 in full to everyone as per the wording of the agreement.

RML should pay up and along with the CWU learn to be more intelligent with their words next time!!!
