It's part of the deal. We lose our Early shift allowance but gain that amazing 20 quid a week extra, which also includes our D2D pay.
So, in short, we lose our early shift allowance and we also lose some of our D2D pay as they're both consolidated into a payment less than what they would be combined.

Excuse my ignorance but do we still retain the reserved driving allowance of £6... some of us still receive? I have asked our area rep he says no but our office rep says we do allong with the assistant area rep ?????? (why do i say our i'm not in the union any more 
)

Reserved driving rights are unaffected so you keep your 6 quid.
