In Todays Summmary of the Agreement it mentions ' the Travel Expenses Cap ' what is this about? what is it for? and who does it benefit??

Anybody forcibly relocated by say a M.C closure or a D.O relocation etc

Well a was moved from Office to another after the way forward and was never told about any Travel expenses.. Is it just wishful thinking that i should've been entitled to an expense???

Maybe someone from the CWU on here could clarify, but i am sure if you were compulsory transferred then some allowance should have been payable
in respect of T&S terms, alternatively you could check the union room on here & see if there is a copy of the 2007 WF agreement mate

Even before the P&M agreement you were entitled to travel expensenses If You were moved / relocated due to buisness needs and not personal
I know you think you know what you think I meant!

although it has to be said, you would only be entitled to excess travel expenses.

For example, if the distance from your house to your old work location was 10 miles, and the distance from your house to the new location was 15 miles, you can claim excess travel expenses for 5 miles per day (not 15).

If the distance to the new place is less than the distance to your original place, I believe you aren't entitled to anything, I'm afraid :sad:
