be VERY surprised if those tossers EVER get a yes vote for industrial action ever again, after this fiasco.

Probably wont be enough members left which is why RM will be funding the union...its all there in the agreement.

i think we would struggle to get support for a strike after this mickey mouse union raised the white flag and called off the strike (so people would get there christmas cards etc)

Dont really think you need to worry about a Strike.
Withh all RM plans at present we are heading for meltdown simply by doing as Management tell us.
Within 3 months their will be total chaosas.
How can any one be expected to do a 4 hour walk,wich we will assume takes 4 hours,D2D to every House as according to RM it hardly takes any longer at all going to every house!
Then on top of this you will be expected to deilver all specials and Tracked Items,and oversize within your Delivery time.Also this 4 hours will include refuelling and anything else they can think of.
RM -Managers fall into 2 groups,those who have never done a walk in their life,and the few who do are either too scared or Stupid to voice concerns.
Rm Plans will not work on any level,either the Human Elelement being physicaly able to do the job or the operational side in the time spans,delivery methods and Geo Routing.
As for Striking ,you had best ask RM Personnell Dept ,I Undestand the CWU have now merged with RM and are a division of personnell.
With the heads of the CWU and the managers at all levels of RM you know your in safe hands! melt down here we come!
