local council elections in may. re: general election, my guess is late april,general election has to be before june 3rd.

Election will be 6th of May. Gordon Brown can't call the election yet. As he need the Queen's permission to do it. Also he can only have three weeks for election campaign. So we probably hear something around 15th April.

RM only get 17 days notice for election leaflets, so anytime around the 15 April onwards as for payment, we'll get screwed again.

Funny how I now find every party morally objectionable.

I asked our union rep about this one, as there was a lot of is there or isn't there. He said it would be too late this year to include them as D2D, but could possibly include them as D2D for next year. Whether this is true or not, I have no idea. Just thought I would share what I was told.
