Did not the CWU campaign against this last year ? and provide some very worrying facts that basicaly no Postman would be able to comply with this ?

So what happens after coaching retraining etc,after further help etc,you cant make the grade ?
are you out of a Job,YES ? or No? or would this dependen upon a local agreement as to wether you face loosing your job or not?

Another disgraceful aspect of this shocking deal. They sold us out like slaves in the market place, and just so union officials on full-time release avoid having to partake of the shite conditions we now labour under.

Unfortunately we don't know what the new figures are because they are not in the agreement.

We already have an agreements for prep rate (25 for 1 minute test) and ips sorting rate (31 for letters for 1 minute test) working to 100% BSI means multipling these by 60 and saying thats what you should do in an hour every hour.

If you bring the BSI level below 100% then you wouldn't be expected to perform at this standard for every minute. I don't like this agreement and think the performance standards are not nailed down enough, but the union certainly have not agreed to 100%BSI.

you should certainly get lower levels than 100% tested against a 'live enviroment' which is in the agreement.

BSI,reminds me of that scene in schindler's list,if you've seen the film you will rem it.

German goes to the Jew who is making i think bullets,the German asks him to show him how it's done,the Jew shitting himself works like the clappers in front of him and makes a few.
The German then looks at what the Jew has made previously that day,and works out that the amount he made in front of him does not add up to the amount he's made all day.

He gets his gun out to shoot him but it gets jammed,then throws a strop and walks off.
At the end of the film in the credits you saw the very Jew the German tried to shoot.

There's a moral in there somewhere.
