Its a shame we cant have an early vote get the NO and have us both out on strike that would certainly concentrate Gordon's mind and get Crozier back round the table !!

Are they still going out on strike about a pay-cut?

Is that a proper pay-cut unlike ours in which we have a pay increase but lose out on some "extras"?

what makes you think a NO vote will result in another walk-out. surely Acas will get the two sides back round the table?

I Dont think it will be a walk out I think a no vote will get the goverment involved and everyone back round the table, Gordon can not afford more industrial unrest

I Dont think it will be a walk out I think a no vote will get the goverment involved and everyone back round the table, Gordon can not afford more industrial unrest
My god, I can't believe how many people think the government will still get involved.. Maybe Gordon can't afford more unrest but a lot of people will see this as unions flexing their muscles and taking Britain back to the 70s - the government will grumble and complain about the union and tell us we should 'talk' instead of strike. Exactly as they did about 5months ago.

It amazes me how many blind and naive people there are on this forum.

There are parts I agree with and parts I don't (can't keep everbody happy all of the time, it just won't happen and people are naive if they think they will get a deal they fully agree with), based on making my own assessments on the deal I have decided after some considerable thought to vote yes. This decision is not because I fear the consequences, I just don't want them, there is a difference.
