Dead letters

Ok so I've prepped and bagged up now to kill off my RTSs, do the letters with TNT, DHL, UKPOST ect ect go to Belfast as well as ours or do they get sent back to their depots for them to deal with

good point "nobodyshero".Hope this time is accounted for when RM do the deal with the competitors and giving them a ridiculously cheap price for doing there work for them. Does anyone know the answer to this one? :hmmmm

think they will go to belfast if they dont you would think we would have to put them in seperat trays , that will be the next thing !

Business mailings that don't carry a return address are not sent on to Belfast, they are destroyed.

Afraid they do go back to Belfast with our mails.
When these companies pay for DSA, a RTS fee is included in the price we charge them, as well as redirections etc.
They pay a set fee for postage, and that includes all the benefits of our system :whistle

Only things without return addresses on that have stamps, online postage and something else (some technical term that I can't think of the name of right now) goes off to RLB. Everything else is sensitive waste.

I'm sure an email went around about it not long ago because after an audit in some offices, it was found that there was some stuff in sensitive waste that should've gone to RLB (the things that I can't remember the name of... you know how RM like to shorten everything!!).
Does this rag smell of chloroform to you?

Somebody made a FOI request to Royal Mail about this: DSA letters that don't have a return address are destroyed, not sent to Belfast.
It seems only "proper" Royal Mail customers get to use the National Returns Centre. :P
