This is what frightens me most. Its alright saying those at the top have now agreed to work together but what about the local offices and their management. I prep my d2d when i get back now as with 800 drops i get paid alot for them I dont like it but its better than getting out another half hour later and missing the van. Heavy d2d council magazines next week and after talking to manager he says youll already get extra time because were putting more on IPS in next revision. A revision that was proposed anyway before this deal and another revision saying we"ll spend less time on ips when in reality we"re still up there till gone 8am following the last revision. I just dont trust them to give me sufficient time in the duty. They never do. We do counts on light days or weeks and then they plan them around that and the most we could hope for would be an average d2d count when our section is all 7-800 drops.
I know cutting off/ booking is always an option, but who wants the confrontation. What protection can the union give us against managers who try to get rid of people on willful delay for supposedly stringing out the indoor work. Depressed! What do you think lovejoy?
