Re: Funeral Time off
Yes it's 5 days paid Special Leave for immediate family - parents, spouse, siblings or children.Doone wrote:Thought it was 5 days off with pay ......for mum, dad, brothers, sisters, wife and your own children......any one else up 2 manager.....
Anyone else it's one day for the funeral, which can be paid or unpaid at the discretion of Manager.
Though if you have to travel I suppose you could apply for more.

Think you will find that it should be taken as Annual Leave or Unpaid Leave but then again ask your boss and see what they say.Lounge Lizard wrote:And what about time off for moving house ?

Re: Funeral Time off
I've heard that some DOMs are reluctant even to give you time off for your own funeral.
