Being a postie from the manchester area could you please tell us wether you were one of the pec to ratify this agreement if so why do you think i should take a pay cut (ie DtoDs)of about £30 aweek after loosing a fortune in strikes ?????????????????????? :no no :no no :no no :no no :no no :no no :no no :no no :no no :no no :no no :no no :no no :no no :no no :no no :no no :no no :no no :no no :no no

I think since this is supposed to be an open and honest democratic union we should be given a full breakdown of the ratification of the agreement.

Has anybody seen the figures for how the PEC vote went? Was it unanimous?

i agree 100%, i still don't know who on the PEC voted for the Pay and Mod deal and most of them have been re-elected since then. The only information you get in these elections is what the candates write themselfs. :crazy:

I think the question people should be asking, is did the two members of the PEC on the negotiating team have a vote when the PEC met to discuss the deal ? if so that is wrong :no no

they are bound to have had a vote....remember Lovejoy says they are two of the most talented PEC members around....

for f***ks sake they are the geniuses behind this deal, why should they not have a vote on their hard work....!!!!!!

let's ask Lovejoy....he seems pretty pleased with it all, especially with the explanation by Bob Gibson on the great DTD deal....

....nice of him to praise Bob. Any thoughts why?

Apparently the CWU are saying it was 'overwhelmingly' in favour - not unanimous.

Area delivery rep who was at briefing told us that 3 PEC members didn.t vote for the Agreement. Big Dave maintained this showed democracy at work.
