Even though I took EVR last June, I still like to visit RM Chat.
This new "proposal" only confirms to me I made the right decision getting out. We all knew the D2D revolution was coming, but that doesn't make it right. I expect most posties wouldn't mind the increase, if the payments stayed.
The later Saturday needs fighting against, no-one in their right mind must want that!!
However, as with "The Way Forward" , RM has flooded the place with New Entrants who, when it comes to the vote, will see the lump sum and tick YES.
I feel for you all, especially the DO's , but am SO glad I'm no longer part of a sinking ship...

Yes your right we have known for ages that there would be an increase in the number of D2D,s handled but unlimited was not expected at all

We also heard that the items could arrive already packed into an large enverlope which then we would deliver. That sounded good as often its the collating which takes the time, but alas i see no mention of that and its a typical RM deal where you are just given the problem and told to get on with it.
The offer of £20.60 is a joke as most will lose money,£40 + would have been more realistic.

The later Sat,s working up to 4 pm ! will totally ruin any home life as your going to be so tired you will be falling asleep by 8pm

Lets hope its rejected and they can go back and offer us something workable without killing us in the process and not just steam roller ahead and try to bring it in by exc action.

I pray it gets rejected, but having tried to get workmates to vote no it looks like a losing battle, all I got from them was "its gunna come in wether we like it or not" not given up trying to convince them otherwise yet though

On the Door To Door proposals, collating TEN leaflets for hundreds of houses will take a lot of time each week, time when we can't be out delivering. Have they thought that through ?
