The deal is an embarrassment to us all, a pay cut in real terms, a loss of status for the union, a loss of rights for the membership. If you read it carefully it's like a really sad begging letter from the union. Please let us remain in the workplace, please, please, please, and we'll be really good from now on, we promise. It's full of platitudes and vagaries and generalisations which sound good but mean nothing. It addresses none of the issues, and gives more away than it gets back. It's a dishonourable agreement. It dishonours us all.
