anyone know if theres a limit on how long u can be on light dutys hope its as long as the negotiations r taking

I don't think there is a limit as such and it really depends on why you are on light duties. If you are awaiting a hospital appointment or an operation then they will leave you alone generally whilst referring you to ATOS every few weeks in the hope they will say you are fit.
Since you are a drain on the budget some managers will do their damndest to frighten you into going back on full duties or threaten medical retirement.
As I always say "if you are in any doubt or want any further info- see your union rep."
