Thought nothing of it till i went back there a couple of hrs later,had a misssort,conscientious postie you see,and there was the same dude standing by the side of the road next to about 30 parcels,i had the cheek to have a word with him (for RMC of course)and apparently he works for DHL and his insurance had run out and the old bill had towed his car away.
Taking the piss i got my phone out to take a pic of the parcels but the old bill were still there and politely asked me to move on.
Another one from an email i've just received....
Seems a traffic audit was done in a south london office and it turns out about 4 drivers were immediately taken off driving (causing mayhem in the office)as they had not done their change over,one did not even have an english licence,licence checks have not gone on for about 5 years,oh and the best bit,one manager is not allowed to drive a RM van as he has not had a change over either. 
Forgot to mention why there was an audit,seems one of the drivers had been driving while banned for drink driving for 6 months and had got found out!
