Trip, fall, close call...

Had a tumble today, doing OT and ended up in the gardens border, pot plant going over, laid there for a short while, shocked. Thankfully, no major damage.
Have had a few problems since dog attacks/chases since 08, and had cortisone into thigh tendon last week, and thing "were" improving.
But, had just finished full delivery beforehand with no problems. So, think that path/rut may have been at fault. Got right RM footwear on.

Got back, told the Boss/es, and sat down to write out the details.
Response was, "I'll go and have a look. I'm very concerned 'bout your falls, I'll get onto ATOS..."

So, no mention of the fact that Simp/Millar undergoing two claims against RM/Dog owners. In FACT, latest letter said RM admitted responsibility for first one !!!!

Back in am, but taking painkillers tonight as leg a bit sore, but good overall, considering!

No bites, dodged all attacks - Rambo, me! - 4 in 8 months! But, groin went, now got Psoas Tendinitis, which is being treated.
One dog - the first - think was used by scrote to keep his whacky backy safe, as it also went for 2 other posties. Both gave witness statements.

So, as I did my leg in 7 months prior to attacks starting, RM admitting H/S violations, but contesting "causation."
First dog still causing terror as far as I know.
I blame the owners, not the dogs.

My time on RM I have had 5 dog bites two collission with cars while on delivery, Road rage with a driver,

Held up in a post van after witnessing a robbery with a shotgun,

Nursing a bad back after a collison with a car last year, yesterday while cycling into work at 5.30am a van drove past and his wing mirror caught my arm, and I was wearing the orange stormproof and all lights were on.

Lucky enough stayed on the bike then we had a daily huddle all about safety out on delivery and coming into work my reply was maybe you should talk to the other idiots out there not us

Was superfit dude til RM job! Ex Police PTI/Self Defence instructor, Black Belt in 2 martial arts, Triathlete, Mountain Bike racer, Ex Asst National Cycling Coach, Trail runner, Plus loads more. Some sports injuries, but nothing like last 2 yrs.
Dogs on rounds have run me ragged last 2 years. Recover, then another bloody dog attack/chase etc.
Can still do biking, do light wts, but limited compared to before. Still twice as "fit" as guys 20 yrs my junior. LOL!!

So...its a case of doing the job properly and adjusting. Guys calling me The Fall Guy/Rambo...Those guys...

With these dogs why don't you just refuse to deliver anywhere a dog is running loose?
We do it on rurals and you have to actually carry out otherwise they think your bluffing but they soon shut the dog away when they relasie the other option is they have to come and collect there post.
